Draft for legal review
Leadup Studio is a video editing service operated by A1Abi Private Limited (Leadup Technologies) (“we”). This policy explains what we collect when you use studio.leadup.in, why we collect it and how long we keep it. [Registered company name, address and grievance officer details to be added once confirmed.]
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, email, mobile number and optional business name.
- Files you upload: source footage, an optional reference video and optional brand files, plus anything you save in your account's brand kit (logo and brand files, colours, fonts and notes).
- Your editing brief and any messages, revision requests or approvals.
- Order and payment records from our payment provider (we never receive or store full card details).
- Basic technical logs such as IP address and browser type, used for security and abuse prevention.
Why we use it
- To edit, review and deliver your video and to communicate about your order.
- To check eligibility for the first-order preview offer. We store a one-way fingerprint of your verified mobile number and email for this purpose.
- To process payments, refunds and accounting obligations.
- To keep the service secure and prevent misuse.
We do not use your footage in our portfolio or marketing without separate written permission. We do not subscribe you to marketing messages unless you opt in.
AI-assisted processing
We use AI-assisted tools, such as transcription and analysis services, to help edit your video. These providers process files on our behalf under their business terms. [List of processors and their locations to be added before launch.] A member of our team reviews the output before delivery.
Advertising measurement (Meta)
We use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure which of our Facebook and Instagram ads bring customers, and to show our ads to people likely to need video editing. On our public pages the pixel records page visits and steps such as starting an order, placing an order and opening payment, together with a cookie identifier and your browser and IP details. When an order is paid, we send Meta the order value and package together with your email address and mobile number in hashed (one-way encoded) form, so Meta can match the sale to an ad without receiving them in readable form. We never send your footage, brief, preview links or tracking links to Meta, and the pixel does not run on preview, tracking, sign-in, account or admin pages. Meta processes this data under its own terms and privacy policy. You can manage ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings, block third-party cookies in your browser, or ask us not to share your order with Meta using the contact page.
Site usage analytics (Microsoft Clarity)
On our public pages we use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use the site (clicks, scrolling and anonymised session replays) so we can fix pages that confuse people. Clarity hides what you type into forms, and it does not run on preview, tracking, sign-in, account or admin pages. Microsoft processes this data under its own privacy statement.
Storage and retention (proposed)
- Files are stored in private storage and shared through expiring links.
- Raw uploads: deleted 7 days after delivery.
- Final videos: deleted 30 days after delivery.
- Unpaid previews and their source files: deleted 14 days after the preview is published.
- Brand kit: kept in your account until you remove it (from the Brand kit page) or ask us to close your account. When an order uses the kit, that order gets its own copy, which follows the order's deletion rule above.
- Order and payment records: kept as required by law.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to delete your files earlier, using the contact page. We will respond within the time required by applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 once its rules apply.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change and show the date of the latest version.
